I know it's probably sacrilage but wouldn't a couple of coats of Exterior Weathershield do it?

I had to colour some Highland regiment dress spats white once. I ended up using that trainer whitening stuff.

It will be that one that went up your nose at Op Ariel - what goes up must come down. Eventually.

Dubbined my boots and played around with various poncho configurations for my zeltbahn. The bicycle troops config caused a great deal of domestic amusement.

Cheers
Martin

Tried out my FJ impression for Hauptmann Horn. My 'M38 helmet' made from a cut down plastic Stahlhelm actually doesn't look too bad when disguised with a helmet net.

Found some loose buttons on my breadbag and sewed them back on again.

Cheers
Martin

Not a good time to tell you that MP's in Italy didn't "white" their webbing then ?

The SoF stuff is ok, but I'd recommend hot washing the webbing first (see blancoandbull website). It still takes at least two coats. SoF reckon one bottle does a complete set of webbing... yeah, right! I'm ordering another.
